ALL ABOUT ANGELINA

~~ALL ABOUT ANGELINA~~

Who is Angelina? Angelina is a pocket pit that someone abused, neglected, mistreated, starved and took advantage of her love. Angelina has proven to be nothing but pure love, innocense and a divine creature. She has the saddest face yet she trusts already. When we went to pick her up from Broward County Animal Control she started wagging her little butt in excitment that she was going to be safe at last! The vet she is at being cared for is absolutly in love with with her and shocked at her condition and is thankful she has been saved!

Here is exactly what we have posted so far in earlier updates on this baby girl and we will continue to keep the updates coming as long as we have them.

<<<5/29/2010 - 8:14 pm>>>
Princess "Lina" is doing great! 99% of her fur has grown back and she is housebroken completely now! She has truly blossumed and done a great job trusting us. This little girl has made it a long way!. We will now only post updates when we have new pictures or when she gets adopted... You may follow her progress on Fabcebook by visiting ANGELINA'S FACEBOOK PAGE.

If you though the last pictures we posted were amazing, please look at the new ones of her taking a bath. She has improved a lot and has come a long way! We have pulled a new little baby boy named Bosse. Similar to Angelina's condition only Bosse has not been starved. He has his own page until he gets adopted like little "Lina" and we will be updating as well. Click  for Bosse's page.

We are urgently asking anyone that can spare some change to please donate in any way shape or form. These babies are not cheap to care for and we could really use all the donations we can get. You can donate with cash (drop it off, never mail cash), Check made out to Top Paw Rescue, Inc., Money orders also made out to our rescue, visit our CHIPIN LINK ,
or visit our DONATION page to donate securly through paypal.

Keep checking for updates from us on both these kids. We are starting to accept applications for Angelina as she has another month or so to go before she can be adopted but if we can have this all set up for her even better. You can submit one for Bosse too.

We wanted to apologiez to everyone for not having updated the page for quite sometime. A lot has happened around here and we have been working extremely hard to get little Angelina housebroken which seems she has been proving what a good girl she can be. Since our last posting Angelina has gained a great and hefty 9 LBS and has put on a good amount of muscle mass. She is starting to learn how to interact with toys.

She didn't like cats when she first arrived but being that there are 2 in the house she is learning that she does not have to like them but at least ignore them. She does very well with this task. We have bought Angelina new toys and new shirts to wear and she is absolutly a doll!

Here are pictures of her with descriptions below and a new video!

In this video we were trying to decide which shirt Angelina   Here is Angelina in the morning waking up. She had to be
was going to wear first... the voters casted and claimed the   crated for housebreaking and non pet friendly purposes but
yellow shirt first then purple.                                                               she doesn't really seem to mind :)

Here we show out daily routine morning and night making
baby Angelina's food :)

We picked up Angelina from foster mom's today around noon. We took her to visit a former furkid adopter Angie. We walked a little and talked a little and Angelina recieved a lot of love from Angie. She is an aweseom girl and all love her very much! She is boarding at our vet's office in style as she is being kept behind the counter with techs. If you want to send anything for little Angelina please send it directly to us as we will be visiting her daily.

Foster mommy informed us that Angelina is in love with children! That is beyond fantastic news! She was playing all day with the children of foster mommy's friend. This is the end result....

<<<4/22/2010 - 11:15 am>>>
She is such a sweet girl! Here she is in her foster home eating breakfast and wagging butts!!! She has proven to not have broken spirits and her trust in people is unbelievable.

<<<4/21/2010 10:33 pm>>>
Oh no! We got a call from foster mommy that Angelina has tried to attack her foster sister. Oh poor baby as we know she isn't feeling good and only God knows what happened to her in the past that is making her feellike this. This little one needs a foster home for the time being with no one else in it. No cats, dogs and preferably no children just untill she starts to feel better and we'll reexim when she recoups. She is an awesome girl though and just melts everyones heart!

<<<4/21/2010 - 8:35 pm>>>
Angelina seems to be getting along great and just having the best time. Drank water from toilet bowl and couldn't get enough! After that smelly ordeal :) she was given food and water and she savored her food and took her time with it! Definitly say this girl is extremely loveable. We did do a partial temp test on liking cats although I know she'll probably have different results when she is not sick. We'll pray for the best and hope she likes dogs.

<<<4/21/2010 - 6:20 pm>>>

Angelina was picked up from vet around 5:45 pm today. She was happy waggy girl. Vet absolutly loved her along with all the vet techs. She has an amazing personality and she just shows complete trust in humans as if nothing ever happened to her.

She was given antibotics, supplements and vitamins, skin chew tabs, ivomectin injection and a topical treatment for demodex mange, medicated bath soak for 20 minutes (vet claims she was falling asleep), vaccines, Rabies, HW, Lyme & Euralichea test was (-), dewormed, deflead, given Capstar and a few more things I can not remember. We are on our way to foster mommy's house!

<<<4/21/2010 - 2:22 pm>>>
Spoke with vet and she has been treated for worms and parasites. Her tail apparently is on old fracture that nothing can be done for. She is just a happy bouncy baby and the vet's and techs love her there! They have her soaking right now in a medicated bath for her skin and apparently by the looks of it she is loving it and falling asleep in it! They have to keep nudging her as she is in warm soothing water with the medicated shampoo and meds and loves it!

We will be picking her up later around 6 and they are running a few more tests and bloodwork, so I will be updating soon! Thank for everyone's help and loving supprt!!!

Here is Angelina. She went in as a stray on April 17th and was due out today 4/21/2010!!! I saw her email and my heart sank for her! I tried calling last night but unfortunatly no one was there to take my call so I left a message. People were praying and had horrible sleepless nights as they waited for her savior to arrive but so far nothing. Not a call not a look not a nothing. First thing in the morning I called Mark Crowder and begged him to please put her on hold as we wanted her safe! Well unfortunatly we did not have a pull contract with them so I called Dianne from Stray Aid & Rescue who did have the contract and she gave the all clear and she was safe!

Mark informed us that at the very moment when we called he had to put us on hold because she was being walked to the back room where she was on the verge of Euthanasia! We are ecstatic that she was held for us! 10:30 rolled around and we were there waiting for them to open and thank god!!! I saw that little sad face come around the corner and as soon as she saw day light her little broken tail was wagging like a machine with batteries! The joy on her face to smell grass and leave that dreadful place was beyond happiness for me!!! She has been taken to a vet and is being examined. So far she is covered in fleas, has a broken tail, lumps all over her body and serious mange, has signs of previous and mulitple breedings, infected eyes and infected teeth and gums. We will keep everyone updated and just remeber we update from top so her updates will be posted above with time and date and pictures as we go along!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED HER CARE!!! Vets have asked for all donations to go to same place as they are overwhelmed with calls about Angelina.
